Following initial community consultation in April 2016, dLux has responded to the interests of the young people by producing a three-part residency series that aims to foster ideas, critical thinking and problem-solving through visualisation, design and making.
Annie worked closely with our Education Designer to create a program called 'Thinking Machines'. Working across materials and technology, and in response to participant interests, each residency will design and develop a creative machine.
The first of these engagement periods took place from May 17 to 20 with two more residencies scheduled for August and October.
