sARTorial | Vivid Ideas | Saturday, 10 June | The Connection, Rhodes

If you’re planning on going to any Vivid Ideas events this year, make it this one. We're hosting a MAJOR party that fuses art, fashion and technology, with plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with outfits that react to proximity, touch, and interaction. Make a whole night of it - experience what beautiful Rhodes has to offer, explore the culinary delights and finish off at sARTorial with amazing water views.

We're excited to be bringing sARTorial to Vivid Ideas this year. We've teamed up with our friends at City of Canada Bay Council to bring you an amazing art event exploring wearable technology at The Connection, Rhodes.

We will be hosting two sessions over the evening; one for families and our younger audience members with face painting, paper circuit making and a exploratory/performative guided tour and a later session for general audiences with an expanded performance component. There will be interactive elements to explore on both occasions and the opportunity to get up close with the futuristic garments and accessories that have been designed by collaborative teams of artists and designers.
